The United States Men's National Soccer Team is one of our most esteemed and high-profile clients, and Sinna Studios is honored to be an internal partner, entrusted with creating motivational "hype" videos that are shown to the team in the locker room moments before they take the field.
Project Overview
For the September 2024 match against Canada, the video we crafted had a very clear mission: reignite the passion and drive within the players after a challenging period. Following a disappointing early exit from Copa America and significant team changes, the objective was to remind the players of their potential, resilience, and capability to compete with the world’s best.
The storyline began with footage of the opposing team’s coach making bold statements, aimed at instilling a fire within our players. We then transitioned into a sequence of motivational audio paired with iconic moments from American sports history—such as Muhammad Ali, Michael Phelps, and Tiger Woods—highlighting the theme of overcoming adversity and rising again. The heart of the video featured dynamic highlights of our players showcasing their talents, from scoring sensational goals to making game-changing plays, all set to powerful narration and music.
Challenges and Expectations
Working with the U.S. Men’s National Team is both a privilege and a high-pressure responsibility. Every element of each video is meticulously planned and executed, with close collaboration with the coaching staff to ensure that the video aligns with the team's strategic messaging. For this particular video, we delved deep into various sources of inspiration, including motivational speeches, movies, and historical moments, to craft a narrative that would resonate deeply with the players.
Throughout our partnership with the national team, we've had the honor of capturing and shaping key moments across multiple camps, including significant tournaments like the 2024 Nations League Final and the 2024 Copa America. The work is demanding, but the reward comes in knowing that our content contributes to the team's performance and success on the field.
